![]() ![]() That said it's pretty sleek and not cheap feeling, so it's more a matter of taste/preference. Only reason this is not a 5 for me is I really would prefer the feel of a physical switch. If you don't see this you'll probably need to rewire (or consider the Casetta dimmer switches that can work without a common). They'll usually be pushed to the back of the box, and in the US at least they are usually white. If you do know look for a couple wires crimped or wire nutted and not connected to anything. Also like most smart switches you will need a common wire in the box. If you have a lot of wires in the box it can get a bit tight. Bottom line if you've touched a smart device before this thing practically installs itself. Couple taps in the app and I had them renamed and a couple more in Alexa to convert the switches to light mode. The app on my phone was still finalizing when I heard one of my Amazon Echo's announce three new devices found. Adding the switch is completely intuitive if you have used it for any other devices before. Instruction say to use smartlife, but I already use Tuya, with a number of devices and Alexa integration so I added it there.
